Due of the success of  TV5's top rating reality talent search Talentadong Pinoy which is hosted by Ryan Agoncillo, the two giant networks on Philippine TV was inspired to join the latest trend on TV. GMA7 already have Bitoy's Showtime which airs every Saturday and hosted by Michael V. Of course ABS-CBN would'nt wanna get left behind. The Kapamilya Network acquired the right to create the Pihlippines' own version of Britain's Got Talent and America's Got Talent. Brace yourselves for our very own Pilipinas Got Talent.

Pilipinas Got Talent is part of the Got Talent Franchise which is one of the most popular reality talent search all over the world. Our very own Madonna Decena was a product of Britain's Got Talent, which airs in UK hosted by international singers Ant & Dec and one of the judges is terror American Idol judge Simon Cowell. Pilipinas Got Talent is currently holding it's nationwide audition and it's such a smach hit for Pinoy hopefulls who want to earn a shot for fame.
